I’m an all around geek, though a bit of a social butterfly. Professionally speaking, I work as a web programmer for a small liberal arts college in the Pioneer Valley. I am also a licensed massage therapist and a certified bartender. I’m a multi-OS user, though my current preference is linux (ubuntu at the moment). |
I’ve become an iPhone addict over the last couple years.. still waiting for the Google phone to come out so I can get rid of this proprietary thing. I was a Spanish major in college and I studied in Spain during the summer of 2003, though I’m not so fluent now as I was then.
There’s nothing better than enjoying life as much as possible.. the company of friends and family, music, art, wine, beer, chocolate, cheese, coffee, delicious food in general. I wouldn’t call myself a chef, but I do love to cook. My sister, who is also a great cook and an avid baker, and I put together a cookbook chock full of our favorite recipes from each year to share with family and friends. I’ve done a lot of wine and beer tasting over the years and for the last few years I’ve been homebrewing beer with my partner, Gerry. We’re part of the masholes homebrew club and we get involved with a lot of beer events and folks in the industry. Our eventual goal is to open up our own brewpub.
